Nordic Noir Tours is getting a new Chief Inspector (aka manager/owner)

Starting Nordic Noir Tours has been one of the most fun, challenging and rewarding things I have ever done. It was my excuse to get to know all about Copenhagen, to meet great people every day and talk about our passion for nordic noir television and to show them a new side of this lovely city. But, the time has come to say goodbye to my baby and focus on new challenges.

Luckily, this does not mean the end of Nordic Noir Tours. Christine Bordin has been a part of Nordic Noir Tours as a guide for some time and I can tell from her enthusiasm and experience that she will be an excellent new owner and will make sure to keep on giving the Nordic Noir Tours guests a great tour.

Tak to all the guests who have joined us over the last years and who made this such a great experience for me and welcome to our new guests – you will be in great hands with Chief Inspector Bordin.

Farvel og tak!

NEW – The Danish Girl Tour

The “Danish Girl” tour is based on Tom Hooper’s film locations in Copenhagen.

The Danish Girl

The route and the iconographic references have been designed by Élodie Vidal Masson, Art Historian, graduate of Le Louvre and we have received the kind support of Copenhagen Film Fund.

‘The Danish Girl’ is inspired by the real-life love story of transgender pioneer Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne), and her wife Gerda Wegener (Alicia Vikander).

The itinerary will take you through a true story of love and identity, using the work of Gerda Wegener and stills from Hooper´s film o illustrate our themes. During the walking tour, references will be made to David Ebershoff´s novel as well as to Einar Wegener´s autobiography, ‘Man into woman: The first sex change’.

This tour is available as a private tour.
