How long does a tour take?

The open tours on Saturdays last approximately 1,5 hours. The tours end at another location than Vesterport station, so please keep that in mind if you have a tight schedule.
A private tour can last from 1 hour up to 4 hours, depending on what suits your wishes.

Where does the tour start from / where does it end?

The tours start from the entrance of Vesterport station. There you can meet your guide who will hold a sign or wear a Nordic Noir Tours t-shirt. Please be there a couple of minutes before the tour starts.

The guide will bring you back to where we started.

The tours start from Norra Vallgatan 66, Malmö.

No, you do not need to pay in advance. Payment is on the tour in cash or via wire transfer for groups.

Can I do the 2 Copenhagen tours back-to-back?

If there is a Borgen tour planned on Saturday, both tours are done by the same guide, so it is possible to join both.

If you purchase a public transport ticket you can just follow your guide.

Will you cancel the tour when the weather is bad?

The tours take place no matter the weather conditions, as long as it is safe to be outside. You could say that a grey sky and rain even adds to the Nordic Noir experience. Just remember your umbrella and WARM clothing!

In what languages do you offer tours?

We have Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French and German speaking guides. Please let us know if you wish to have your private tour conducted in a language other than English. The open tours on Saturdays are always in English.

Can I join the tour if I haven’t seen the series?

Sure! Everybody is welcome and even if you haven’t seen the series, you can still enjoy the tour. You will see beautiful and interesting parts of Copenhagen and the guide will tell lots of fun facts and stories that are not directly related to the series. So please bring your friend or family member even if they don’t know the series. They might just get inspired to start watching Nordic Noir television.
